“Berkut” spread its “wings", or how Rodin fought against “Rodina”...

It all started with the fact that due to the blunder of the residents of Dzerzhinsk, Maxim Kirillov was one on one with the goalkeeper and didn’t miss his chance. “Berkut”, with the support of home fans, strengthened its onslaught, and only miraculously Denis Katalov with the pass of Alexey Chegolin didn’t double the result on the scoreboard.

Before the break, the silver medalist of the Russian championship of the first League twice celebrated success. Firstly, Evgeny Rodin hit the target from a fairly sharp angle, and then Alexander Telegin reminded of himself in a similar situation.

The team of Alexander Kononov had a new lease of life only in the second period of the game, especially Vadim Tyapin did his best, being ahead, and who can be interesting to breeders of the Russian clubs. Alexander Malov, Evgeny Ryabov and other football players of the “Rodina” team also were not against of returning the intrigue to the field, but, alas, the impact shots were reached not often, although, certainly, chances to take the gate were good for the nominal hosts.

The Dzerzhinsk team, in order to save the game, made a decision to attack by five together, and four (!) times the rivals were able to hit an unprotected target from afar. First, Telegin in his own manner sent the ball to the left “nine”, Kirillov continued the “relay race”, and then there was the turn of Rodin (“poker”!) and Anton Soloviev. The result: 9:3 – it was a day of “Berkut”, which wants to regain the championship title so much…
